Kraken Announce Training Camp Schedule

The Seattle Kraken play hockey this month. Yes, you read that right. After a long summer, it is finally time to really get excited about the prospect of Kraken hockey gracing your eyes once again. So, what does the month of September have to offer.

Obviosuly, there are a few preseason games that will get underway shortly. But, befoe that, the team needs to formally get together and start to mend their chemistry again in the training camp. Let's go over the dates.

Seattle Kraken Training Camp Details

The Kraken have a lot of key things going on this month, and it is all a ramp up to real, full fledged hockey. It all starts on September 12, with the rookie camp getting underway for all of the new draft picks from the 2024 Entry Draft. That will go on for the 12th through the 17th, with two rookie face-offs happening against the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights on the 14th and 15th, respectively.

Then, the rest of the squad gets together at the Kraken Community Iceplex on September 19th, and it will go on through the preseason games and end right before the regular season starts on October 8th. It is worth noting that if you are in the Seattle area, you can attend many of these events by going to their website and checking out times. Plus, it is free to attend.

it is really starting to look a lot like the hockey season is right around the corner, and it should excite many. The Kraken have a new head coach, some new pieces acquired in the offseason, and a new attitude that a return to the postseason is an expectation.
