During these summer months, we all yearn and patiently await the calendar to turn to September when the season truly starts to take shape. Of course, the season doesn’t count until October, but for me, it begins when training camp rolls around.

Speaking of October, would you like to see when the Seattle Kraken take the ice? Take a look here.

In all of its beauty, there is the 2024-25 Seattle Kraken schedule, which features 82 games of non-stop action and excitement. This is the path for this squad to make their return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, or another season of disappointment.

The main draw this season is the arrival of the NHL’s newest name, the Utah Hockey Club. Moving out of the desert, Utah retains the Arizona Coyotes roster under a new name and brand. Seattle, along with the other 30 NHL teams, will get their chance to face Utah this season.

An analysis of the upcoming season schedule, Seattle has a good amount of back-to-back games this season with 11. That would be considered as the average from a year ago, as the New Jersey Devils had the most with 16, and Seattle had the least with just seven back-to-back instances.

The Kraken open up their schedule with a home opener on October 8, against the St. Louis Blues. The last game of the regular season then falls on April 15, once again at home, against the Los Angeles Kings.

In terms of the offseason stuff, that is just about it in terms of what is to come for next season. The Draft has come and gone, free agency was a firework display that has since fizzled out, and the full slate of games has been released for next season.

Will the Seattle Kraken return to the playoffs next season after seeing this schedule?
