The Seattle Kraken added five Stanley Cup championships to their roster ahead of the 2022-23 season.

After an underwhelming inaugural season, the Kraken has been very active in the offseason. Seattle made a splash in free agency, the largest of which came with signing Andre Burakovsky. They added more veteran leaders in Martin Jones and Justin Schultz, but they weren’t even done there. The Kraken made a surprise move by trading for Columbus Blue Jackets forward Oliver Bjorkstrand. The four newcomers to Seattle bring a wealth of experience, particularly in their respective Stanley Cup runs. The team is hoping each new addition contributes to increased success during the 2022-23 season.
